Vessla, a Stockholm-based AI startup building an agentic operating system for real estate, has emerged from stealth with €2.94 million ($3.3 million) pre-Seed funding.
The funding round was more than 2× oversubscribed and was led by Seedcamp. Other investors joining the round include Inception Fund, Tiny VC, operators from Lovable and OpenAI, founders Lukas Saari of Tandem Health and Fredrik Hjelm of Voi and Pit, alongside a number of angel investors.
“Property operations combine recurring work with complex processes and exceptions that require judgment. Vessla is building for both. The Vessla team has expertise in developing bleeding edge AI applications, and their experience from deploying those in high-stakes enterprise settings play a big role in why they are seeing such interest from leading players in the industry in such a short time,” said Felix Martinez, Partner at Seedcamp.
Founded earlier this year, Vessla is trying to solve a familiar but persistent problem facing property management: information is scattered across multiple systems, and connecting them falls on people. It says a single maintenance request can require checking property records, contacting a supplier, updating a work order, and following up on an invoice, each step carried out in a different system,
To solve this dependence on discrete systems, Vessla layers its AI agents across those existing systems, equipping them with the relevant context and operating rules to carry out tasks reliably. However, it also ensures that decisions that require human judgement are handled by people responsible for making them.
In addition to AI agents, the startup is building an operating system that spans entire property portfolios, connecting leasing, building operations, and investment planning. Vessla says property teams set priorities and retain decision-making authority, while agents identify opportunities to grow rental income, reduce operating costs, and help coordinate and execute work across the portfolio.
“We believe AI will fundamentally change how property companies operate, from maintenance and costs to leasing and rental income. The hard part is making it work at scale across the systems and processes those companies already rely on. That is what we are building. As AI takes on more of the execution, people’s judgment, relationships and responsibility become even more important,” said Orman Gazvini, CEO of Vessla.
The founding team of the startup has a deep and varied expertise in building and deploying autonomous AI systems in demanding enterprise environments. Gazvini previously advised major software companies at McKinsey and worked on strategy and M&A at Pophouse.
Kasper Janehag, CTO of Vessla, began his career in the space industry and contributed to NASA’s Mars 2020 mission, before leading enterprise-scale AI transformations at QuantumBlack, McKinsey’s AI division. Chief scientist Arash Dabiri brings hands-on experience building and evaluating agentic AI applications from Andon Labs and QuantumBlack. The broader team also brings experience from Legora, Stanford, and Netlight.
“AI can look impressive in a demo. The real test is whether it can handle the messy, consequential work of a complex business. That requires deep integrations with vast amounts of context, rigorous evaluation and clear limits on what agents can do. We are building Vessla to meet that standard across entire property portfolios,” said Janehag.
The company is already working with some of the largest commercial and residential property owners and operators in the Nordics. While it didn’t specify how it plans to use the funding, since it is coming out of stealth, the funding will likely be used to scale its solution.
